That Philco ad confirms that the 1971 Muntz was a roundie. Both are described as 267-square-inch sets.

I remember my sister and I watching a Zenith roundy at the now defunct Two Guys big box store New Years day 1967. While our parents shopped. I was 10 and my sister five. IMOP these roundies were unsold 1966 models. I do remember Philco selling a roundy in 1968.

Zenith designed their last roundy chassis in 1966 the 24NC31....However Zenith had a habit of continuing to build a product they had reason to continue selling, but no reason to continue redesigns on under the same chassis number with a Z suffix. I have a 24NC31Z which I believe was a 1967 build, but I need to look for internal date codes to be sure....Zenith carried some Z suffix sets for years. Case in point I have seen a 14N22Z from 1975 (I let another collector there who REALLY wanted it have it), and I own a 1969 14N22Z.
The N year sets were 1966.
