Looking for someone in NYC area that does repair. 9-160 needs to be resoldered or replaced. I have replacement board but I'm not tech savvy. If anyone can help, please pm me. Thanks

First be SURE you have the right board. There are many
9-160's like 9-160-03, 04, 05, 06, 08 that all sub to
2 different ones.

What are the symptoms ?? Most problems are known & easy.
Getting the board out is easy IF you know the tricks, we can walk
you through.....

Re: repair

Sorry I didn't see this response. Basically the a/v cuts in and out. I was told it's a bad cap or solder. I'm sure it's an easy fix but I don't really know anything about repair. I was told not to attempt it as the tube would need to be de-charged?
