Thumbs up [Salvaged] 1970's B&W Sanyo 10" Portable TV.

Hello Folks,

This past weekend I decided to brave the elements of old man winter and venture out, to see if I could find something to save from the crusher that many of these old CRT's are destined for! I was quite surprised with what I found, but nothing was worth saving till I found this little Black and White Sanyo 10" Portable from what I would say mid to late 70's? Considering how dirty and dusty the thing was I didn't expect much to happen, but sure enough after a little warm up it came back to life after probably years of sitting. The sound quality is quite good too. I wonder if anyone out there would have any interest in this set? The Model Number is: 90V71U.

I used to have the 12" version that was made in Korea. That was the first and only tube TV that I've ever seen that was Korean. BTW, your set might be from the early '70's, since it does not have click stop UHF tuning. They went to click stop UHF tuners sometime around '74.

If he's in Canada, about 1977.
