GE Camera/Broadcast gear
At the Early Television Museum gathering this year they had an outside trailer with free old broadcast and General Electric gear. In picture you see (top right) an all-tube GE color-black generator of about 24" rack space.
There were also a bunch of GE Image orthicon deflection yokes which I snagged. These would be difficult to manufacture but although GE products were seldom seen, their motto seemed to be "Anything RCA can make, we can make". Inside were other GE items like a 1950s camera control unit (pictured) and an early 15" color monitor of very different design to RCA's industry standard. I got a whole bunch of the super long cables with BNC ends, and a couple of what appeared to be rack mount CCU heads. Figured those'd look neat doing something with them in the future

The "free trailer" was a gold mine of cool vintage rack-mount gear. Wish I would have got the GE sync generator, but at least somebody saved it.

Most of the GE stuff in the trailer was for a GE PE-250 or PE-350 color camera. There was some cool stuff in the "Free" trailer.
