Looks like about a 1963-64 model Zenith, VHF only. Probably about 25LC20 chassis. Its power tuning only though, as the space command microphone should be on the left side if it had one. The control door is open, you can see the fine tuning (large knob) and the volume knob to the right of it.

It's definately a Zenith from 1964 and is also a remote. (space command 600) I have that set and the original dealer brochure for it.

I thought the earliest space command 600 for the roundies was on '65 models with the 25MC33 chassis. This must be a very rare set.

Zenith Space Command
It may be a 400. It is in another warehouse and will look at it the next time I go there.

folks, sadly this tv has long gone ...the photograph owner says the tube failed and the set was dumped ...and that the set seemed to have constant vertical hold issues...

There was one of those on ebay or crglst not too long ago
different cabinet but same controls . It was missing the little door you can see open in the photo.
Nice to find some of the history! |
