I've never said anything was ugly other than the one I have. The plastic long case just doesent do it for me. I love woodwork, though...

I finished cleaning up this radio, replaced 2 lights in the dial, and the FM stereo light, and re-donated it. They got $15 for it. I'm always happy when they get some good money for things I fixed/donated.

I second the motion.......love the late 60s through mid 70s 'Mod' look. Just found a Panasonic SE-1217 radio/phono from 1968 for $10. How can you not like the minimalist design. Here's one from a recent ebay auction... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Panasonic-Mo...-/160564648517
