Just what I needed...

...A Delmonico T-11 AM/FM/SW tabletop. I'd reckon late '50s, early '60s. Sounds pretty decent, really need to De-Oxit the volume, tone controls, etc. Nada about it on the internet, think "Delmonico" was the brand name used by this Japanese outfit before they became JVC. Looks to have been an expensive set in its day-8 tubes, 4 speakers, even tho its mono. Case leaves a little to be desired, the tuning eye isn't working, either. Japanese aping of the German Grundigs, Emuds, etc.

Nice to find a tube shortwave. Is that the brand that used the steer head as part of its logo?

Oh, man. I remember seeing Delmonico gear in a store called "Jack & Harry's" about 40 years ago... and not since. Seems it was a hardware/tire chain, sort of like Pep Boys.
