Just received a lot of vintage tubes
These tubes I got aren't el 34s and 12ax7's.
These are 4 pin tubes . (some have a couple more) They are shaped more like lightbulbs and get larger in areas then get skinnier. Much more interesting looking than modern tubes. I am hoping that one of you will know where I can possibly get tube data charts for these tubes. Or maybe you just know where these tubes were used. Any information on them AT ALL would be greatley appreciated. I received these from a friends mother. They belonged to here father and I would like to build something for her from them as a momento. 35A 224 A 58 7B6 235 6F6 G 6L6 8C And thats just some of them. Thanks for your time, Rudy |

Good sites.
Be aware that the 224A may need to be entered as 24A. |

cool stuff
I've managed to find a few of the tubes on those sites(Thanx by the way!) The 24a has an incredible amp factor of over 600!! The 6l6 is a sweet beam power amp. So it has great potential. Up to 60 watts with only 2 tubes. Probably more pure class B with positive grid driveing. The other tubes are sharp cut off pentodes and I really don't know where/why these are useful. Thanks for the quick responses Rudy |
