1973 Electrohome

Extra brownie points for anyone who takes the time to look at the information provided and tell me how this chassis keeps high voltage under control.

There's a good chance this set was parked since before this millennial was born so I don't want to risk starting it on its original caps.

It looks like a respectable quality set, I hope you get it working with pics of the picture.
I noticed that the crt said made in Canada, anyone know if any part of that factory might still be there?
Does anything of the Electrohome company still exist?

Your tripler crosses to a NTE/ECG 500A, with focus block internal of the tripler is NTE/ECG 530. Also EIA code on CRT is for RCA. All the best,Tom.J

That's awesome, thank you very much. Now I know I don't have to concern myself with finding a replacement for that 2-lead 2nd anode cap, bonus.

I'm sure that with a few minor mods to bring it a little closer to the C31, i.e. this tripler and better heat dissipation for power resistors it will be a very reliable set. It'll be a while before I'm able to get it going as I'm not one of those people who have a seemingly unlimited budget for this.

I don't know if Electrohome ever made a console cabinet out of pressed sawdust. I have a third I still need to take pictures of and I haven't noticed particle board in any of them. The C31 I know is solid maple. This seems to be a lower-end cabinet with thin wood sides, but still wood nevertheless.
