According to their 1990/91 supplementary setup manual, Custom Components Corp was located at W224 S8445 Industrial Drive, Big Bend, WI.
There's no sign of them there now. I suppose the demand for CRT test jigs about disappeared overnight. https://www.google.com/maps/place/W2...!4d-88.1985431 |

yeah they probably lost orders because of all the chinese tv set flooding the market all through the 90's ,people would throw away their tv and just by another one instead of fixing them . i like Bill R plan when get his house finished ,probably wouldn't hurt to look for anymore updates though .

Quote:
We ran two jigs - one was an RCA 14" or 15" portable for verifying bad CRTs in home (so the customer could see the chassis was fine), and one for tube sets in the shop. It left in the mid-80s, in favor of a VCR bench setup. Probably 200+ chassis across the jig from 77 to the mid-80s, and only one couldn't be fully adapted - a Sears-Warwick hybrid color set. We went back for the cabinet and had to fix it whole. With only 960 square feet of floor space (most of it for selling sets....), we preferred the chassis pull over the whole set.

To run roundies you just need the CRT adaptor & 4 spade lugged
yoke wires. We never bought convergance cables, you dont need them. BUT some sets put the vert out cathode cap & resistor on the conv board. Just sub in what you need. Otherwise the bottom is pulled way up. I did almost all the jig work from abt 1974 til the end, 2 or 3 a day on the Syl jig. 73 Zeno LFOD ! |

send me an email. I have the CK3000 and a 1979 setup guide scaned as pdf files. They are to large to attach here. OR if there is a place here to put larger pdf files I will post them there.
