Philco's New-Matic Pneumatic remote.

I wondered when or if I'd ever find an original air operated remote for my Philco Seventeener with the New-Matic remote control, well I finally did last week on eBay.

One could make one of these up with a squeeze bulb and some clear plastic tubing but only the original has Philco New-Matic molded into the bulb!

The hose is a little stiff after fifty years but then so am I, the hose can be easily replaced though.

I've never heard of an air powered remote before. Guess it was a way of offering a remote without adding a lot of additional cost.
