[QUOTE=zombie1210;3213190]Kinda of a cool old radio I found this morning.
Its a Zenith Consoltone 6D015Z Nice, heavy Bakelite thats in excellent condition. [/QUOTE I have the "racetrack" version of the Consoltone; however, unfortunately, it is not presently working. If I plug it in and turn it on, the tubes do not light, which leads me to believe one of them is burned out. The pilot light doesn't glow, either. (The base of the 50L6 audio output tube is very loose, which could mean air has entered the tube and has rendered it useless.) I don't listen to AM radio anymore since just about every station these days programs talk, sports or some other non-music format. One of the few (I do mean few) music stations on AM in my area is an oldies station on 1360; however, I gave up on it (and all other AM stations in this area, including the former Canadian oldies station on 740), when I found an oldies station about ten miles from here on 93.7 FM.
