How did the uship thing work out for you...and how does it work? Over the years I've found things too far away to drive to get, but have been nervous about the shipping....

I resemble that remark!
That particular Motorola early color set is the only one I lust for.
John Folsom has one and he mentioned that he couldn't get the color circuit working quite right. It does have a strange approach to the color circuitry. Looks a little GEish.

If I wasn't so busy, I'd probably bite on one of those roundies. I've been searching Albuquerque for a year and nothing......

And Tucson is only 7-8 hours away......

Price lowered on the CTC-17X Danish Modern combo set. $80 for local pick-up. I've posted in on Tucson CL. There are more recent pix there.

Here are some recent pictures of the CTC17 combo set. Shortly after rescuing the set, I did a thorough cleaning of everything inside and out.

I've sold a number of large sets locally over the past couple of months, including three aircraft carriers and two roundie consoles, and have culled the herd to a reasonable level. I still have one set that I'd like to sell, which is my RCA630TS. I'm asking $50. Must be local pick-up in Tucson. Here are some pictures.
