Great to see these collection lists. Hard to believe its been nearly 3 years since I started this thread. My collection has grown considerably since then and my open space has gotten considerably smaller..... Heres my updated list, including b/w sets. Brief description of the TV screen size, type and if equipped with remote control and chassis model. 93 total vintage TV's including 2 complete parts TV's at the bottom of the list.

Current collection stats:

25 total b/w TV's

68 total color TV's

56 of the 93 TV's are Zenith (60%)

26 of the 93 TV's are RCA (28%)

12% other brands, including motorola, sears, admiral, GE, Philco.

The mean average of the TV's in my collection is from 1968

There is a tie for the mode year of the collection, 1968 and 1973, 12 TV's from '68 and 12 TV's from '73.

only 3 of the TV's were in the family since new

17 of the 56 Zenith TV's have space command remote control (30% of the zeniths) of those 17, 13 are color TV's.

1 japanese made Set (1969 sears color by sanyo)

92 are quality made in USA!

My best count: 15.

"daily watchers"
2005 Sylvania (Funai) 6427GFF 27" digital color CRT "SPC".
Circa 1996 Daewoo 19" color CRT "BPC".
1987 Sharp 25" color table model faux woodgrain plastic (mechanical tuning).
1996 Zenith 13" color CRT "BPC" (remote, recent $6 acquisition).
2000 Action 5" B&W battery portable with radio (used in tandem with Zinwell DTV converter box and battery pack)
"De-facto TV" (Gateway 21" color CRT monitor + RCA HD tuner + Sony boom box).

Not "daily watchers"
Circa 1958 Emerson 1224 24" B&W consolette, blond (works - not perfectly).
(My favorite, I bought it used about 30 years ago and have made many repairs and tweaks).
1956 Motorola 21T34BA 21" B&W, blond table model (does not work - AGC problem)
Circa 1958 Zenith 17B20 21" B&W, faux mahogany table model (works)
Circa 1973 Zenith 14B38 19" B&W faux wood plastic portable (works, not perfectly)
Circa 1980 Sanyo 12" B&W, coffee plastic (works, missing volume knob)
Circa 1988 Zenith 12" B&W, faux wood plastic (banished to attic since 1996 color acquired)
Two 5" B&W battery portables (recently purchased for $1)
Sears 5" color AC/DC (works in AC, unknown model, boilerplate missing, only have AC cord and do not know how to connect for DC)

Leaving just enough room (and only enough room) for:
a color roundie.

Last edited by Robert Grant; 10-15-2009 at 02:03 PM. Reason: 1)added Sears 5" I had forgotten about. 2)corrected chassis number Zenith 17B20
