Large CRT Muntz
Why, or why, do people do this?!
This has got to be the largest B&W Muntz set I can ever recall seeing. Any idea on what CRT it had? -Cory http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/atq/4285277637.html |

24 inch Muntz. 24AP4 in it I think? Shame they gutted it, I'm sure they are pretty hard to come by...

That is truly sad, that was a nice looking set too.
Wonder if they still have the parts? |

I sent him a message about the guts, and he responded "I have it here".
Someone in the area test the CRT & make an offer. Years back, I purchased an NOS 24AP4 for $100. The seller, trying to save money on the shipping expense, put the CRT in the box diagonally. Needless to say, I got a box-full of busted glass. THEN, I find out he insured it for $500! Sounds to me like he purposely scammed UPS. |

A round-CRT B&W set from 1953, very interesting. That had to have been the last one.
