~1976 Quasar or ~1975 RCA XL-100

Hi, I played countless hours of Atari, and watched Fox networks become a thing, along with all their great early programming on this Quasar set. If you see one like this, could you pass along any info?

Also, my dad had a ~1975 RCA XL-100 that I can't seem to find any pictures or ads online of. I have found several from 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1976, all mostly black except for one which has a virtually all-silver front. None like the one that I remember. I don't have a sub to Newspapers.com, because I personally believe that newspaper archives should be provided by our libraries online under public domain.

We played Atari 5200 on that and watched countless hours of the Dukes of Hazzard, the A-team, BJ and the Bear, and Knight Rider. The only pic that I have shows a chrome speaker grill, the RCA logo in to top left corner, and I remember the top half of the speaker grill was a 'secret' door that hid the adjustments. I don't remember if the channel controls were in a vertical or horizontal arrangement. Thanks for any info you can shed.
James

Great! A nice find with an original "display stand" to go with it.

Sanyo tv exactly like this

I'm looking for a Sanyo tv exactly like this. I can't find the model number but I think it is a 25 inch made around 2000-2001.

My 87 year old father has a Zenith System 3 console with a space phone. I think it turns on, but it takes a while to heat up. Not really sure though. I remember watching the Little Rascals and Tom and Jerry on it when I got home from school, so Iím fairly sure he had to purchase it sometime in the 70s. Itís been stored in my old bedroom on a purple, pink, and blue shag carpet. Lol itís in good shape. I canít get to it yet, as there are things stored around it, but I took a pic of what I could see. Anyway, I was thinking about what to do with it. I looked on EBay and did a general internet search, but canít find one like it. Just curious if there is a market for it, and if so, about how much to ask. If there is no interest, I could always upcycle it.
Sorry if Iím on the wrong thread.

Unfortunately, not much of one. There might be a collector that would take it off your hands (depending on location) but I wouldn't think it'd fetch more than $25. Although, there are some Space Phone models that could be considered desirable. Post a pic

A new want list:
  • RCA 21-CT-55 (No longer looking for one, found a CBS 205 instead. Close enough.)
  • A mahogany RCA 621TS. (I had a blondie but sold it to find a mahogany to match my other early post-war RCAs.) *FOUND*
  • An RCA 630 tabletop with the earlier four-bracket safety glass mounts *FOUND*
  • An RCA 721TS *FOUND*
  • An RCA 721TCS
  • An RCA 648PV
  • A General Electric 901
  • And finally, the Holy Grail of vintage sets, an RCA 648PTK

Looking for Probes

Greetings all;
I am looking for a vintage Heathkit ( or similar brand ) demodulation probe and or a VTVM probe with the switch built in. My reason for this is I want to reproduce these in small quantities. I want to make them for all of us to have a reproduction probe available as it seems these probes are almost never with their meters. If anyone can help me please PM me with the cost including shipping. Your help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Dennis

This thread is a wonderful time capsule. It's fun reading the years old want lists of people I know who have found what they were looking for.
