Need to Make Space

For the past few years, my eyes have been bigger than my house, and I've got way too many sets to practically store and display, so I'm offering up a few of the sets I've acquired. These need to be local pick-up in Tucson. Rather than re-post pictures, I've listed threads with pictures of when I got the sets:

CTC15 Roundie set. Strong CRT, cabinet not perfect but not bad. Have not run it in a while, but was mostly working when I got it. $200

http://www.videokarma.org/showthread.php?t=261426

Zenith Roundie from about 1967, Danish modern cabinet. Never turned it on, so working condition is unknown. CRT tested pretty good. $100

http://www.videokarma.org/showthread.php?t=253043

Heathkit roundie color chassis plus Asian Cabinet. CRT is so-so, could possibly be "cleaned". I have all the manuals for it plus a spare yoke. $150 for the chassis plus the cabinet I was going to adapt for it.

http://www.videokarma.org/showthread.php?t=261867

And finally, my Silvertone aircraft carrier combo. CRT tests good. Very nice cabinet but have never turned it on. $100

http://www.videokarma.org/showthread.php?t=258604

PM me if interested. Thanks!

Wow, I'd totally buy that Zenith Early American set if it were not in Tuscon and me in upstate NY! That's exactly what I was looking for, for years, when I finally gave up and bought a Danish Modern set!

Actually, I gave that Early American Zenith set to a friend of mine here in Tucson shortly after I got it. He had one just like it when he was growing up and has it displayed in his living room.

I wish I didn't have to give up some of my sets, but my space situation has gotten a little out of hand...

Hi-

I want to buy your Heathkit roundie color set, if I can figure out how to get it here to northern California. Thanks. I sent you a private message.

Update......I'm also willing to part with my CTC-17X rectangular combo unit in Danish Modern cabinet. I've cleaned up the cabinet fairly well and have added some reinforcements to the legs as they were a bit wobbly, but it could probably use a good re-finishing to make it perfect as there are still some water stain marks on the top. The set is complete with tuner and turntable and I have all of the knobs even though the photos don't have the knobs installed. The CRT on this one tested good (see my thread on this one when I got it). Asking $125. I bought a spare 25AP22 for this set that I'd be willing to sell with the console for another $125 (not willing to sell separately). These also need to be picked up locally. Thanks!

Price lowered to $80....

Am also considering selling my RCA 630TS and my Fada 930. Asking $100 each. Check out my previous threads for photos.

Post deleted. The RCA 630TS is still available, as is the Fada 930

Holy smokes!!!- My aunt and uncle, now gone had a 24NC31 Zenith with the Danish legs and walnut. Id take IT in a minute at your modest sum, but look where I am?!?

I DO have the EA version like yours, and a spare cabinet for one and somebody here wants it to match a decor.

Sorry about the unintended bump on your 5 year old link I did not need to see that...

Can always try the VK pony express and or uship.com....I just plopped down 500 clams to have a rare early color set shipped from CA to WI. If you want something bad enough and have the cash there is nothing stopping you.
