Congratulations Kirk,

That's one of the sharpest brightest pictures I've ever seen on a CTC-4. is that a table model?

Question 21AXP22?

Looks great! Is that a 21AXP22, or has it been replaced with an all-glass type?

CTC 4

The CRT in this set is indeed the 21AXP22. It is not the original, but a salvage crt with great emission. This set is the 21-CT-662U, the "Director" Here is an aerial view, showing the chasis and Kine, with plastic guard and equalizer magnets in place. Again, I was suprised as to how good it came out.

Kirk,

Man is that clean! What's with the red clip lead...grounding something against the 'rice krispy' effect* ?

Red Clip Lead :-)

Good Eyes Rob! The red clip lead was on there just to make sure that I had a good ground from the equalizer/Clamp to the main chasis. That photo was snapped while I was aligning it.

You have some nice early sets also. If I can ever be of any help, please let me know! I would LOVE TO SEE ANOTHER CTC4 Running! I have a nice spare chasis that needs a flyback.

I have seen some awesome screen shots of CT-100's (My dream set) and never saw a 4. Let's see how many 4's we can light up!

Talk to you soon!

I collect and restore pre 1961 RCA Color TV's

Kirk,

Yeah, I really should get back to restoring my four also. Seeing yours has given me a bit of incentive. Thank you for your compliment on my collection.

I wonder who else out there has one of these. Let's see those hands!

Rob
