Unhappy My CTC-9 has departed

But the new owner is going to love it!

Show us it's new digs, with a nice old timey movie on the screen!

Happy to oblige! Made it back to the city with everything intact except our backs.

I had a hell of a time getting a decent screen shot with my lousy camera, though: best shot was, of course, the old NBC Peacock. Also: the Everly Brothers on "The Tennessee Ernie Ford Show." Pics don't do it justice. It's really sweet. Almost the exact height and width as the 24" b/w Motorola it replaced, but a good 6" deeper.

Also watched "An Evening With Fred Astaire"--big fun.

Looking good!

Don't forget that for proper colors, the tube will likely need to be degaussed. You can buy the tool for cheap on Ebay.

Yes, I'm glad you stopped at Goodwill too! That was a lucky find to say the least.

And definitely yes to deguassing, though I wasn't about to wait to enjoy the set.

Thought the attached was kind of cool. Will be watching that one sometime soon as well...
