Motorola VT-71 Stand

Does anyone know if this was an official Motorola built stand for the VT-71, i.e. could the public buy one for their set?

If so does anyone have one, seen one?

It's so ordinary looking one could be lurking at the local Antique Mall under a coat of "Shabby Chic" Teal Milk Paint and you might not notice it.

I've never seen one in person with that stand. It's possible it's just a generic table used for the photo shoot, or one used for the larger Motorola sets. You'd have to have a very good eye and do a LOT of searching to possibly spot that table among used furniture. As collectibles most collectors like to place these small 7" TV's in shelving units rather than take all that space with a table anyway.

What a cool pic. It wouldn't be hard to fabricate one. You would already have the table top dimensions from the TV set itself. The legs would be freehand design, but a skilled wood worker could figure it out. I was going to modify the DIY coffee table that you can order online from Home Depot to look like the table in a Zenith Mayflower Ad.
