I got 2 VHS movies today

1) Night of the living Dead - 1990
2) The day after - 1983 (Havent seen this in awhile)

And i also got DIRE STRAIGHTS - Brothers in Arms!!!!!!

Wow,i have wanted this for awhile...... I have the 45 of this song (MONEY FOR NOTHING) and its a MASTERDISK and sounds excellent!!

THE ALBUM IS ALSO A MASTERDISK! (Bob Ludwig) and should sound just as good!!

I was waiting in line to pay for those movies I got and noticed a small stack of records off to the side.. I looked thru it and couldnt believe it!! (I was even more happy to see "MASTERDISK" in the middle!! (RL (Rob Ludwig))

Didn't like the '90 version of "NOLD" as much as the '68 version, but at least Barbara got to survive. "The Day After" pretty grim, but IMHO, the BEST film of that kind is the little seen 1965 British docu-drama, "The War Game". Its about the strike & after-effects of a Soviet strike in mid-60s Britain.

I just got a first-gen Kindle at Amvets for $9! It's in pretty good shape including the battery, still connects to Whispernet and even came with a few books (but I did wipe it and pair it with my Amazon account). The clerk said she put it in the display case just before I bought it, so it does pay to show up at the right time!

I got yet another analog cable box, a General Instrument unit with full keypad on top. Funny thing is, the guy next to me saw me with it and asked if there was another one. He said something like the remote sensor in his TV was no longer working and that he wanted one of those boxes to control the set. When I told him that it was an analog box he said he knew. I asked him how old his TV was and he said it was about 3 years old. Totally clueless. I also got another RF modulator. Nothing special really.
