CTC-4 Photofact manual online?

Hello-

I am working on a CTC-4, and I thought I had the Photofact manual, but I don't (only ones for the CT-100 and CTC-5 among others). I believe it is in the public domain. Do you know if it is available online for download (other than buying it from Sams)? It is in set 314, folder 9. Thank you-

ETF has one on their site, but beware- there are 2 different circuits. I believe the one at ETF is what I have in my RCA manual as a 'late production' chassis, which there is another one for the earlies. I was able to tell because the lates have a single cap for the CRT screens, while early has individual .082's for each screen.

Phil-

Thank you for the offer-I sent you a PM.

Miniman82-

Thank you for the link. I did download that schematic as well. I have the RCA Field Service Guide that includes the early- and late-production CTC-4 schematics. It does not have things like oscilloscope waveforms and alignment details that I need, that should be in the Sams.

Thank my local library. They have a Sams subscription, so members can download for free.

That is a nice service, Phil! My local library (in a city of about 140,000 people) had an extensive but not complete set of paper Photofacts manuals until a few years ago when they got rid of them to put in more computers. I didn't know they were gone (as well as a big selection of REAL factory service manuals for all the major car brands) until it was too late. I know they have some type of database service on one or more computers; I should find out if it includes the Sams manuals.

Thank you for posting the manual on your site as well, Steve. The "official" Sams manual I got from Phil is missing a couple of pages including the HV and horizontal alignment instructions; I confirmed they are in the copy you have that was scanned by Tom.
