Looking for a schematic for 53 Philco RF-91A chassis

I'm working on a 53 Philco, model 22-4309.

Specifically I need a correct schematic for the RF chassis RF 91A Run 2.

The Sams is generic and not even close for this set and I have a couple resistors I need the value for.

Possibly it might be in the 1953 or 54 "Most Needed" books but I don't have those years.

American Radio History has some of the Beitman's manuals. The RF-91 chassis is covered on pages 114 & 115 here:

Don't know if it's the correct one for RF-91A Run 2, but take a look.

What SAMS are you looking at. I have the Most Wanted on CD so I have all of their books. Also I'm looking at Riders 10-35 and have a schematic for a 91 RF chassis. But I couldn't find anything on model 22-4309? could this be a typo?

madRad45, that appears to be the right one, or at least close enough, thank you!

It's a resistor off of TC401, 220 ohms, which seems right since I could tell the first band was red.

Crist, My Sams is a 201-7, it wasn't for this set but it was what I had on hand, both are split chassis sets and are similar but not exact.

The model number has always been a bit of a mystery in this set. The tag has T-2288S but it's been blacked out and the 22-4309 is hand written after it, this appears to be a factory change.

My set has a Tone control that's not marked on the control panel, I don't see it on this schematic either, possibly a production change, or this cabinet was originally destined for another chassis and got changed, hence the model change?

If you have access to a copy of Sams 185-10, it appears to be an RF-91 chassis with a concentric volume/tone control and the 220 ohm resistor hanging off the sound I.F. If you need a copy, I can scan and e-mail it, but it will take a day or two to get it scanned.

Thank you for the offer but I got the set back together last night with the info from the americanradiohistory site.

I found a copy of the Sams on eBay for $4 so I got it for the next time, the picture on the cover looks like the right set, different cabinet but the same basic set.

I appreciate you figuring out which Sams it was. I've had this set for about 18 years, I repaired it at that time but it's been running on most of it's original Electrolytics since then. I found one Can with a 1978 date code on it, I think I installed that back around 1999, it still works so I'm going to leave it.
