Here is where I am at with these KV-4000's

KV-4000 #1 - The set that I posted pictures from:

Vertical centering is set to the DOWNWARD position
Vertical Height and Linearity set for very slight over-scan on top and bottom
Horizontal centering is set to the FAR RIGHT position
Removed C531 to minimize Horizontal Width - resulting in very slight over-scan on the right side, but still a large over-scan on the left side

Still exhibiting banding and flashing, but not as severe - I need to find a way to reduce the over-scan on the left side, and/or shift the Horizontal centering further to the right. I need to find L901 and L902 - is it part of the yoke, or is an optional add-on that needs to be installed? Also, where would it connect to? Is it supposed to be in series or parallel with the yoke coil? This part of the manual is not very clear - at least, it isn't to me!

KV-4000 #2 - This set has never been touched internally, as far as I can tell:

Vertical centering is set to the DOWNWARD position
Vertical Height and Linearity set for small over-scan on top and bottom
Horizontal centering is set to the FAR RIGHT position
Removed C531 to minimize Horizontal Width - resulting in small over-scan on the right side, and an over-scan on the left side that is about twice the size of the right side

Perfect Picture - ALL banding and flashing eliminated
