Pilot tv and 3ep1 crt
I'm wondering if I'm correct in thinking that in order to use a 3ep1 crt in a pilot tv I would have to make an adapter to reorganize the wires to the crt and have a separate 6.3 transformer for the heater and then rectify that heater circuit because the cathode is tied into the heater of this 3ep1.

No need to rectify the output of your heater transformer, as the cathode is indirectly heated.

I thought I had asked somewhere in a post here the same thing only it was a 3gp1 with the cathode in with the heater. I think I also had rewired it and tried it but got bearly a pic it was all distorted , so I think that's why I asked befor and was told to do the DC on the heater. I don't know
