Major Super Mack Score on the Bay

Got this Sencore CRT tester for $150. All 18 sockets and a high voltage probe. Supposedly owned by an OCD electronic restorer who passed away recently. So clean and ALL of it is there.

Wow that is a really fantastic deal. To have all the sockets is rare, wish I saw that first haha! The prices for beat up old testers are insane
on ebay lately, so yeah that is a serious score in that shape

I have a similar HV probe by Sencore, they really were rock solid.

The seller had it up for $150 in an “or best offer” format. It’s from 1993. I didn’t make a best offer…just bought it outright asap!

Good move in my opinion, if it matters! Sometimes, being "Greedy" and waiting or low-ball offering can blow up in your face. Simply, if it is worth that to me, I just buy it too...

Wow that's a nice score. I don't blame you just going for the buy it now price. It's worth it and rare to have all the sockets and find one in really nice shape.

I've got to agree with zenith2134 ebay prices the last while have been crazy for old equipment. I was looking at old Heathkit oscilloscopes and it's getting rare to see even those below $100. And capacitor testers are crazy expensive.
