Grundig 5088

Hi

I just got a Grundig 5088 from ebay. The radio is beautifull but it has some problems. First the Am and SW bands don't work. Second, the FM tunes in fine but the sound has a lot of distortion. Any ideas before I send it to the radio doctor? Thanks.

Will probably need new electrolytics and a recap to get it functioning properly. I wouldn't use it until it gets the attention it needs or you could do some permanent damage.
