Original CT-100 shipping box label
I bought this on ebay about oh, 15 years ago or so. It's for chassis serial #B8000991, cabinet number 422. I keep forgetting that I even have it.
Does anyone know if this set still exists and who owns it? I think that this piece of the set's history should belong to the owner of the set, and I'd like to give it to the person that owns it.

Tim,
Don't see it listed in Pete Deksis' CT-100 list:http://www.earlytelevision.org/Deksn..._pub_list.html Of course, that doesn't mean it isn't still out there. -Steve D.

Jr. Tech,
I misread the # as 891. But am, like you, confused by the cabinet #. -Steve D.

That 422 could represent all sorts of things. I'm not sure they would put the cabinet number on the shipping label.

Yes, that set still exists, or it did in 2002. It was owned at that time by Eric Stumpf from Newberry, NH. I don't know if he still has it.

I thought the number next to the serial number on the list was the "living list" ID number, not the cabinet number.

Eric is a fantastically friendly fellow. I'll pm you his phone number and you can ask him if he still has it.

Found this photo, I took of a 15GP shipping carton, at the UCLA TV Archives in Culver City, Ca. This many years ago as we were transferring some TV sets.
There was a dud 15GP22 in the box. Items have since been moved to another location. -Steve D.

Well, as it turns out, Eric isn't the owner, never was. He's the guy I bought the label from on eBay over a decade ago
He found the box filled to the top with loose tube pulls, and badly deteriorated. The label was all that was worth saving.
