Bizarre Brazilian ad from 1956

This was published on a December of 1956 issue of the Brazilian magazine "Manchete." There's a Santa Claus and a group made of famous singers of that era along with radios and TV sets of RCA Victor on the sands of Copacabana beach:

Ah back in the day when if you wanted a picture like that, you had to get everyone on an actual beach, lug all those tv's onto the sand, and take a photograph.

Yet the santa looks 'shopped. Hmm.

It looks like they stripped in Santa and took the trouble to strip in his shadow too, but didn't notice that his shadow is much longer in proportion than the other shadows. Weird.

Edit - or maybe it's just perspective due to the use of a wide angle lens, as all the shadows get longer towards the right side of the image.

I think it's just that you are only seeing the shadow of Santa's extended sleeve and hand. Looks fine to me.
