dlp projectors

I don't know if this is the correct place to ask...
what causes speckles or dots in the pictures ? these are dell 1409...
I appreciate any info

someone I know was asking me so I haven't seen it but they have several of these..im not interested in replacing a flat pack ic or any ic.. thanks for the input.

the chips are removed like a CPU in a computer. Very easy

I done one in my 57 inch Samsung. I got a new chip for $160 and it only took about 15 minutes to replace. It was cheaper for me to replace the chip than it was to replace the tv with one of the same size.
