Could always take that Daewoo, and hook it to the back of a truck and drag it down the road

The GWs here in Maryland still take CRTs along with flat panels. There are always plenty of huge and tiny CRT TVs because nobody wants them. Salvation Army does not however.

They aren't even picky. One Trinitron from the late '80s had a big burn mark on the top, and it was plugged in.

The company I work for has a 40" Toshiba LCD set on the wall in the cafeteria that has been running 24 hours a day at least 5 days a week for the last 7-8 years trouble free. The only problem we've had is the satellite dish on the roof being blown off target during a big storm one time. We got to watch the DirecTV logo bouncing around the screen for over a week until someone could come and re-aim the dish.

As far as that 1994 Daewoo goes you could always give it to Shango066, I'm sure he could find a creative way to EOL it

Will they also sell some of that good kush they must be smoking, for those prices? Admittedly, the price on the flat CRT/VCR/DVD set is acceptable. On a slightly related tangent, I have recently seen people online asking insane prices for the little 13" or so TV/VCR combos (no DVD!) and I have no idea why.
