Anyone Recognize This Photograph
Anyone know where this photo came from?

It showed up in a Pittsburgh Craigslist ad. I thought the ad was fake and knew if anyone could spot where the photo came from it would be someone here.

Not all ads with "borrowed" photos are fake....I've seen ads where the poster found photos of the same or similar TV they were selling because they were too lazy to take pictures of the TV they had.

This one most certainly is. It's not a scam sort of fake, but a fake none the less.

For some reason I can't find it again. It was an ad for a free TV with that photograph, but it was really an ad for a local recycling center that takes TVs. Posting in the free section gets way more eyes on the ad that posting elsewhere. The ad read something like "Free TV, just needs a tube...If no one takes it I'll just drop it off for free at Westmoreland Cleanways Recycling Center" and went on to list their hours.

Found it! Yes, obviously a promo for the recycling center and not a real offer of a TV for sale.
