Optimus 2.2" nematic LCD

I'm not an lcd fan, but when I saw this for six bucks, with batteries, I had to pick it up. They seem to have been sold by RadioShack around 1996-1998.

Well its automatic tuning and it just keeps scrolling. So when its 3.5mm AV input is hooked up to cable I will only get a momentary picture, then it scrolls right past.... until it scrolls past it again, always seeking. What gives?

Oh well, this will look good sitting on my shelf.

Are your AA's 1.5v?

I didn't even think of the fact that my rechargeables are 1.2v each when it calls for 1.5v each.

Just a thought...

Try connecting the AV to a composite source like a VCR or game console.
