15" color Dumont/Tel-Instrument broadcast monitor carcas acquired

I bought this monitor at the ETF meet from a fellow VK member.

I'm not entirely sure what make this unit is. Based on the ETF site it would appear to be a Dumont monitor http://www.earlytelevision.org/15_inch_color.html model 2401 http://www.earlytelevision.org/pdf/d...itor_specs.pdf The back is labeled "Tel-Instrument Co. Inc. Type 2401 Serial 153". I'm not sure if Dumont rebadged these or if Tel-Instrument was a Dumont subsidiary.

According to the ETF database the only other known example is in the hands of John Folsom. http://www.earlytelevision.org/color_database.html I've love to see some more pictures of his example to know exactly how much of mine is really missing. I'd also be interested to see the schematic for this. Based on what I've seen I believe this monitor is basically a CT-100 with the RF/IF and sound stages removed, the power supply separated (and lost to the ages ), and then modified for underscan, all important controls up front, and some special video input and control modes for the broadcast world.

Picture/post limit hit. Go Here to see more: https://www.flickr.com/photos/137849...h/41397068044/

It is missing a lot as far as I can tell. The power supply, CRT, safety glass, CRT neck hardware/mounts, the HV sub-chassis is almost totally gutted (but appears to be the same as that of a CT-100), control extension shafts, some knobs, the focus pot, and possibly more...Also, I stole the color osc reactance coil to replace the bad one in my CT-100. If someone has a parts CT-100 chassis with a complete HV sub-chassis, power trans and reactance coil that would be the bulk of what I need to make this work (I could probably connect it to the 15GP22 in my CT-100 with extension cables till I can source a better CRT).

Given the relative rarity of this monitor I'd almost be tempted to part out my CT-100 to make this work, but my CT-100 is a bit too nice for me to pursue that.
