Rec-o-Kut Challenger?

I found this beast last year before my dad got sick and never had time to look at it until now. To be honest, I don't have time or space to putz with it anymore so I'll be bringing it to the AK-swap this weekend in Janesville, WI along with some other stuff that's not near or dear to my heart. Somebody told me it was probably worth $140 or so but he wasn't exactly a "reliable source". It isn't in the best shape. Missing both the cutting and playback stylus, the case is rough and the speaker is missing. The tube amp (pair of 6V6 outputs) looks OK though.

I know what you mean about having no space for old gear. I live in a very small apartment and can only collect small radios anymore. I have two, both Zeniths, an H511Y (black plastic cabinet) from 1951 and a 1963-vintage Zenith K731 AM/FM in a walnut cabinet--both ebay scores. I'll post pics of both sets here.

Zenith. Gone, but not forgotten.
