Crosley 124
Hello, nice site.. In 1972 I found an old radio in my grandparents attic. Crosley 124 is the model. They said I could have it. I was a paperboy at the time and took it to an electronic repair shop and payed to have it fixed. Cost me $33.00. I left it at my parents house. In 1980 a puppy chewed on some of the cabinet and also chewed the power cord. Has not been used since. I am now going to restore the cabinet and replace the power cord. All else looks nice and the dial cord still works. Anyone know of a site that could tell me when this radio was built? This was the family radio for my Dad's family.

Thankyou very much. I put a new end on the power cord after I cut off where the puppy had chewed. Cleaned the insides. Hooked up an antenna and it performs like a new radio. Observed it for several hours today and kept watching the insides for signs of problems, none. Sure was fun, now to get it looking like new!
