Sony KDL-40Z4100 wierd colors-advice needed...
New in 2009--the screen has florescent looking psychedelic colors pinks, greens and blues, otherwise the rest of the TV works normally. There are no vertical/horizontal lines on the screen and outside of the weird colors the entire screen looks good. The internal menu of the TV or playing a DVD produces the same issue.
What could be the problem? Thanks all, your help/advice is a appreciated!

Weird, it's only on one half of the screen. Maybe the drivers boards for the screen are giving out, or the main board has some crappy caps is in skewing the color. I'm not familiar with LCD sets, do they have those soft rubber connections to the screen like a wrist watch? If so, maybe try reseating the screen?
