Sci Fi Movies/TV Shows With CRT Monitors
Just wondering what everyone's favorite futuristic Sci-Fi movies and television shows with CRT monitors are. Alien and Blade Runner are 2 and 3 on my list. Anyone else have some good ones? I'd love to see somebody name my number one.

As far as I know all starships used in the first six Star Trek movies used CRT monitors, many or all on the Enterprise and Enterprise-A bridges having round masks. In Star Trek III a conventional CRT monitor is clearly seen at a workstation in spacedock as Kirk and company are stealing the Enterprise. Then of course there's the memorable scene in Star Trek IV when Scotty tries to get a Mac Plus to respond to voice commands.
That's all I can think of for now. |
