Are these just holddowns
I took all the press-in modules out for a cleaning and cleaned the contacts. On each module were two blue plastic tubes on unused pins. I looked them over and they serve no electrical function, so I'm assuming they were used to keep pressure on the board to stay seated.
Do I need these? The boards seem to fit snuggly on the pins and I don't see them on my other CC2 (no problems with the boards coming loose). You can see them in the attached picture on the vertical and horizontal boards. Thanks

As far as I know...those are just hold down sleeves. Most likely from shipping.

I always try to put them back for aesthetics, but I bet they were intended to insulate higher B+ voltages in case of wandering fingers during setup adjustments, etc.

They are gone. There is no voltage on any of the pins they covered. Since I don't plan on operating the TV upside down or shaking it, I can do with out them.
Thanks!
