My small collection...
So I got around to taking a few pictures of my transistor radio collection... I do have one or two smaller models and another cassette and eight-track radio that are not pictured.
First picture, from left to right and top to bottom they are... Panasonic RF-933 Panasonic RF-930 Hitachi KH-1130H Realistic Patrolman SW-60 (12-779) General Electric 7-2885F (Superradio II) General Electric 3-5508A (Eight-track) Second picture, Panasonic T-35 on top of Allied A-2515. I plan to use the 80s vintage Realistic speaker (a Minimus, I believe) with the Allied. The other Panasonic is a tube model. I was too lazy to move the boxes on top of it to get to the model number on the back. I like how both Panasonics have the Civil Defense symbols at 640 and 1240, and both have the Matsushita logo. I have never gotten the T-35 working but the tube radio worked fine when I put it away years ago. At this point I will want to check out the caps before turning it on. Someday I will take a crack at the T-35 and fix the broken dial string on the Allied. |
