Talking Find me a car!

Welp, I find myself in the market for a "play" vehicle. Got about $3,000 to spend on something neat

Prerequisites:

1. No vans, large pickups, or anything newer than 1985 or so.

2. Interior has to be decent, and it can't be a rot box.

3. If it's not driveable back to Buffalo, that's fine....but the transport would cut into my available funds for the purchase price.

4. Has to at least start. Moving under its own power is a plus, running and stopping is ideal. If I can hop in and drive it, awesome! If it's your car and you know that it ran, I'm good with that.

5. Has to be complete. Nothing without an engine/trans unless it's something obtainable somewhat easily.

If you post a link to something, please let it be something in your local area that you'd be willing to go look at for me. Or, maybe someone here has something that would fit the bill that needs a new home

I'm looking for more of a driver, something that I don't have to worry if it rains on it or I can take for a spin at Christmastime if I want to. And that car deserves better.....

I guess that eliminates my '88 S10 with 100,100 miles.

Too bad this is a '93, too new for you. It would have hauled the big stuff.

If you put an extra $500 on your max I'd consider selling you my Mark V...It is only up to 62,xxxK since the ETF meet.

Well, sometimes things happen quicker than expected! I just bought a 1962 Mercury Meteor with a V8 out of Muncie IN. Runs, drives, and stops

So excited!!
