There is a smaller TV only CM like that at a thrift near work. Control door is missing. SS with an inline color CRT is too new for me to bother scrounging parts from let alone collect. If someone else wants it I might help put it in their hands.

Mid to late 70's combos somewhat often had built in 8-track...Go back to the 60's and some had built in reel to reel.

The first picture looks like it has a VCR in it.
That's the earlier model with the two piece chassis by NEC, using a delta gun CRT.

Yes, NEC built TV. Japanese built receiver, 8 track, and turntable. Turntable most likely sourced by Fujiya Audio or by CEC Japan.

It was called by dealers a Mammoth. I saw one in Gaffney SC at a dealer in 1980.

Uff Da. I would hate to be the grunts to move that behemoth. I never thought CM quality was very reliable.
