1950 Philco console

One of the first sets imported to Brazil for the innauguration of television here, in 1950. Now one of the prides of my collection:

Beautiful! Will you restore it? I like how they translated "Famous for quality the world over" for the local market. They did the same for the sets they built and sold in Spain.

I'm in Love...(grin) Looks to be a little bit better finished, possibly, than its typical American cousins. The few I've seen either had stamped steel "Fakewood' cabinets or pedestrian real wood ones. Ya done Good !

I thank you guys for your kind comments. I probably will not restore it, I will try to keep it original since this set has "seen" the very early days of television in South America.
