A Dilemma! Help Me...
When I start working on the restoration of my CTC28, is it "Early Color" or "Rectangular Screen Tube Televisions"? It's certainly... rectangular.
Thanks! |

IMO the only rectangular sets that genuinely belong in early color are the 1958 Westinghouse sets, and the projection and color wheel/drum sets of the 50s. Maybe the 23EGP and the Japanese sets with roundy necks as they're the first successful examples of the technology, but even those are pushing it and probably better off in rectangular tube color.
