Identify this RCA?

Photo taken in 1956 to publicize Alliance add-on wired remote, but the set looks earlier to me?

1949 RCA Model No. 9-TC-272

B/W set with the 16AP4 CRT. Outstanding performer too, 4 or 5 IF stages, DC coupled video.

I t looks to me a 1951 9-T-77. The screen is 19" on the 9-T-77 and the 9TC272 did not have the doors depicted. The 9-T-77 did.

You're right, I thought the 9-TC-272 had doors. It doesn't. Apparently only the 9-TC-275 did. What chassis is in the 9-T-77? Is it a variant of the KCS-47 chassis?

KCS 49 according the Sams.

This picture confirms it's a 9-T-77 (you have to click, it's too large to link.

The door will have to be left open with that remote installed.

In 1951 RCA turned to rectangular. Lasst round sets were in 1950. Might be a Yuch KCS- 47 chassis. Troublesome chassis.
Eight controls in front.
Have a model on it? Looks like a 6T74.
Hope this helps.

That set in picture looks like a sixteen inch. I think I see doors.
The 19" round sets actually came out in late 1950. They also use the kcs 47 rigged up for higher hv with a different flyback.
I have the red book on those sets, plus, my sets.
I have the 1949 table model with a 16AP4, which comes out of the front of the cabinet.
