This little Sony followed me home
There was this Sony TV-115 all-transistor B/W set sitting under a table behind where I work. I guess someone was dumpster diving at the antique store again.

Aside from the handle and DC jack it doesn't seem all that interesting, except that apparently someone (who owned another TV-115) mailed Apple back in the 70's about how to make one work with their computer and one of Apple's tech support guys got back with this response: Never heard of this Steven guy before. |

Steven? Sounds like a really nice guy and really upstanding businessman.
I wonder if that signature is a rubber stamp or not. |

Hard to remember now that there actually WAS a Human-Type Being at the very back of all the PC jargon..

Nice. I think those scratches on the screen will polish out with a scratch remover compound.

Sony had a way with that little stuff! A fine example you have there!

Nice set ,pix looks great and nice letter from late Mr Jobs.Mr Jobs sig looks real to me but a writing forensics expert could help on that. I might have a similar set here or I might mistakenly thinking of the Panasonic I have in the shed.

I'm thinking this set and letter ought to be taken to a Antiques Roadshow event. A early piece of Apple history has got to be worth some bucks.

I didn't see where the letter came with the set, or even is in the OPs possession...

Sorry i thought Electric City Radio supply was where Mips works and that it is the addressee of the apple letter. I inferred that this set and letter was something leftover/forgotten from mips workplace.

Well, my error exposed. no harm no foul. Nonetheless nice tv set which someone else wished to use with a early Apple computer. Still a nice tv.
