Odd Sharp remote
I do not remember which BPC set this came with but it is an oddity. A curious remote that is also a clock, alarm and kitchen timer, all with a back light, and a back magnet to hold it on your fridge nearby for cooking. It has the signal lamps on two sides. What were they thinking?

Very interesting remote! Looks like it would be awkward to use, as the writing on it is 90 degrees to the transmitter beam and would require holding it sideways.

We sold a bunch of those (just ran across the box for one in the warehouse). They came with two remotes; one to lose, one to use. Their thinking was that a remote was too easy to lose in the kitchen (many of these sets were white in color and marketed as kitchen TVs) and if at least one of them had a parking space, it would stay with the TV.
