I've recently spent 3 weeks in hospital with ischemic colitis (no, I'd never heard of it either) I was on steroids, fluids & morphine IV drips, had 3 X-rays, 1 MRI scan & a colonoscopy, & when I could keep stuff down food & drinks, all at zero cost to me as medical treatment in UK is free. How much (approximately) would all this have cost in the USA assuming I had no health insurance?
