CT-100 for sale

I have been considering for the last few years of selling one of my CT-100's. I usually don't sell much but of having over 12,000SF of stuff in four buildings with taxes and insurance going through the roof, I thought I would try one on evilbay starting tonight. I brought this set to the ETF museum some years ago and the CRT was found to be nearly perfect! I just sold two of my antique convertibles and feel bad about that and hope I don't have remorse over this sale!!

This set was used very little by an RCA engineer and was in storage for nearly 50 years and is 100% original with all knobs, tubes and all components. Cabinet has a few blemishes. The cabinet number is 708 and chassis number is B800308A and is the 5th oldest example known to exist.

Sigh, like selling one of my children.

There are two things I can say to help you feel better:

1. No matter who you sell it to or where it goes, it will still be on Planet Earth....therefore, re-obtainable.

2. He who dies with the most toys.....still dies

Wish I had the money to shift it to this end of Tennessee. Then it would only be 5 hours away in case you wanted to visit it.

Ct-100

Well, I have three very nice all original complete CT-100's. One is in good working condition. I also have an Admiral and CBS 15" color not to mention the RCA TM-10 15" studio monitor also in working condition. Also in my collection are two CTC4's and an unknown quantity of CTC5's. I have pretty much all RCA color sets to 1967 and various other brand color sets. I am looking for a property to display (museum) all that I have as my living room and radio room look like the basement of the Smithsonian. I don't know what to do for the moment as I have pathways throughout my 3 warehouses.

You could always sell some of those CTC-5's, I'd pick one up from you.

Maybe we should all get together and we could get a volume discount on "Drool Buckets". I would make the trip from the flat end of the state for sure.

Man, I'd love to have a CT-100...if only there was some way I could get the thing home in one piece.

Put my name on the list for a CT-100. I'm still adding to my warehouse. If need be I'll carry it home on my back from Tennessee to California.
