My '73 was a Grande' Original red with black roof, I thought a great color combo. Second best was the '78's Midnight Blue with Chamois vinyl roof and interior colors. The mustangs, thunderbirds, and whatever else had it back then....

The Grande' was the EX version, cloth center to the seats, bunch-a other stuff, probably Power Brakes, and A/C, 351C, had the FMX transmission, some people didn't like it, I had no problems with it, I think my brothers mach 1 had it too... It only lived to be 143K miles, (rust killed it) engine rebuild at 135K burned a case of 20W-50 a month of local driving..... I could smoke out anyone at will though...

--------------

On the '69, a lot of people thought it was the best looking of the fastbacks.... And the back window louvers was an add on, a lota cars had them back in the later 70's..... cool looking at the time..... I guess the for-runner to those things people put in the front windows to try and keep the car cool...

Holy moley, that's freakin' nuts. Gotta love it. With a mini version for the kids, this could generate a fortune.

Yah, Lego's are the best toy.... I figured they just Lego-clad some car, but it seems they came up with something quite unique in every way.... I think I really wanna know about that engine.... I think its a kind of steam engine, but with compressed air, to be plastic friendly.... ending up with an actual plastic "engine".

Got a factory 8-track stereo in any of these?

Wow, Carmine has a fleet! I came from a mostly GM Family, though dad did have a couple AMC Ramblers, as second cars that he mostly drove to work at GM Pontiac, MI. I do like several 60's and 70's Chrysler, Dodge, and Fords, though! So many still look much "cooler" to me than some of the newer, smaller, stranger-looking cars they are building now, I really question some styles! I'd really like to ride in one of the 60's Imperials, such a big, roomy car! I always liked the look of the Dart as well! Me, I drive a '13 GMC Sierra 1500 Pickup, absolutely love it, and my wife a '13 GMC Terrain. Wish I had a classic car, and a place to keep it. Maybe someday!

Carmine, I would have figured you'd have an "Elwood Engel" Imperial, as well. The Virgil Exner Imperials had some of the biggest, yet most graceful, fins ever put on a vehicle.
